Challenge

A construction company's website is usually padded with exactly the things that cannot be checked: years trading, project counts, team size, certifications, client names, and photographs of work that may belong to somebody else. We had a real company and a real service list, and almost none of those records confirmed.

02

Approach

Every unverified item is marked where it appears rather than invented or quietly omitted. Provisional chips flag placeholder facts, dashed slots sit where a figure belongs instead of a made-up number, and a generated content-notes page inventories every open item and what it needs. Placeholder project pages carry noindex, stay out of the sitemap and emit no structured data, so nothing fictional can reach a search result.

03

Outcome

When a record is confirmed and its flag flipped, the marks disappear on their own. The handover document is generated from the content files rather than written alongside them, so it cannot drift from what the site actually says.
